White Water Rafting - CDO

The white water rafting adventures in Cagayan de Oro has been around for few years now and yet this is the first time I invoke in this challenge. Perhaps because I lack the time, or the right companions or simply because I'm always being a scared rat when it comes to any sort of adventures.

My officemates and I were stocked in the office for some time now and our stress levels are slowly soaring high. Our daily routines' are making us all edgy so we decided to unleash our negative energies by experiencing the thrill of white water rafting.

We planned this trip for a week and contacted Kagay (a pioneering group of tour guides for water rafting). With a minimum requirement of 12 persons (PHP 700 each ) they provided us with 2 rafts and a jeepney to and from the starting points.  They also have packages that includes lunch but we opted to bring our own food
Rate:

Beginners PhP 700 (with lunch additional PhP 200 each)
Picture coverage PhP 250 / CD (per group)
Video coverage PhP 1000 (optional per group)

Note:

Safety gears will be provided, just be sure to wear rash guard or long sleeves and don't forget to apply generous amount of sunscreen.

On our way to the starting point

All dress up and ready to go!

We took the beginners course since most of us are working on graveyard so we need to be home early for our next shift. It took us almost 5 hours - what with all the picture taking and stop overs but it's part of all the fun and anticipation.

Enjoy the scenic view and laugh with all your hearts' content but be mindful of your safety. Always follow their guidelines and check your helmets and life jacket for this extreme ride!
